2010 Peugeot 5 Concept HQ Song: Lil Wayne Drop The World Instrumental Enjoy & Comment! Peugeot will be unveiling an almost production ready version their upcoming 508 sedan at the Geneva Motor Show next month. Already seen, though not entirely, through spy photos, the new model will replace the 407 and 607 beginning in 2011. The 5 by Peugeot Concept car is a 200 bhp (149 kw / 203 PS), all-wheel drive luxury sedan that comes with the French brand’s Hybrid4 technology. The concept car features a 2.0 liter Hdi diesel engine with 163 bhp (122 kw / 165 PS) coupled to an electric motor (at the rear) with an additional 37 bhp (28 kw / 38 PS) . Fuel economy is 3.8 liters/100km (74.3 mpg UK) and the car’s total emissions come in at 99 g/km (zero when running on electrical power alone.) Design-wise the model seems to borrow a little from the C6 from sister brand Citroen with its sleek lines and round ends. LED lights and 19-inch rims are also featured in the 5 by Peugeot Concept, helping make its total look seem more production-ready than pure concept fantasy, which is often a sign that the car will soon hit the streets. Peugeot’s Hybrid4 technology is set to debut in 2011 in the 3008 model and most likely shortly after with the 508. We expect Peugeot to show us the production ready model at the Paris Motor Show this September.

I hope that they will do a coupe version of this when it goes into production at the end of the year – like they have done with the 407
