The Falcon GTHO Phase 4 is one of the rarest muscle cars ever built by Ford. Only 4 were ever made and 3 are beleived to still exist. 3 were purpose built for production car racing and only one made it through the production line before the program was cancelled due to the “muscle car scare” in Australia. It is to Australia, what the Mustang Boss 429 is to the USA – The ultimate muscle car.
As aired on Top Gear Australia. Features a catchy jingle about “Football, Meat Pies, Kangaroos and Holden Cars”. This is the slightly less sexy version where some of the skin shots have been replaced with tamer ones, I guess.
This is the latest ad from the team at DC Productions and BowerBird Films for the Unofficial TopGear Australia which is going to be shot after the NSW HSC concludes and broadcast on DCTV (YouTube and VEOH channels). Enjoy!
Had 5 hot laps with “Stig” from Top Gear Australia at Eastern Creek.. He was VERY good. I was only game enough to hold my phone/camera for one lap.. the Atom was awesome.. My neck was soooo sore.
Here is the Ferrari Challenge Stradale i saw the guys from Top Gear Australia testing on Friday 14/11/08. It was a lovely piece of machinery to see first hand and up close. I think i may save up for one. The Other car you will see here is called an Ariel www.arielmotor.co.uk for more info, this car was cool, but i was just in awe of the Ferrari. This is the full race 2 from the famous Imola 2002 weekend. Coverage is live from Australian channel Fox Sports. Commentary is provided by Charlie Cox and Steve Parrish (who now commentate motogp on the BBC, as well as Charlie Cox being an ex-host on Top Gear Australia). This is one of the most famous rounds of World Superbikes of all time. Edwards and Bayliss ended their year long battle with some of the best racing ever seen in the World Superbike series. In my opinion, this race was the last before the death of the old World Superbikes (with Bayliss, Edwards and Haga moving to motogp and Corser moving to the Foggy Petronas team), but in 2008 we started to see the rebirth of the series. This is part 3 of 8, starting near the end of the 4th lap and ending partway through the 10th lap. Thanks to racer69 for providing me with the DVD this race came from.

Second part is from guardian about MDC activist Sam Chakaipa that returns to his village in rural Zimbabwe to find his friends and neighbours starving to death, reduced to panning gold powder from the rivers to exchange for food at an exorbitant rate.
